He found it in one of the computer store's showcase when he's looking for a new flashdrive. The only one there is at the moment. Find it unique and highly convenient, he bought it without thinking twice..there goes his 40$. No complaint though, as it has laser pointer aside from the usual swiss knife assortment and flashdrive, bonus usb cable extension so it doesn't have to hang, and been very useful in many situations. Treasures greatly.

Type of person who live in the moment. Happy and confident; at points where he taking things easy, often underestimates hard situations he's in; until it hit him right in the face. Friendly, yes; but he won't hestitate to strike down even his loved ones if he think he must. May use whatever dirt lying around to do things; without actually thinking of it's consequences (say..if there's no drinking straw present, he may use pen's casing as subtitute). Barely tell actual lies, but may twist his word around or speaking in confusing manner when necessary..trick people into thinking one when he meant another. Past
Chinese-English descent that lives in England. His early life is a bit..chaotic; seeing how his parents haven't got a decent job after they moved to England, not too long before his birth. They moved from place to place often. Aside from that and the disastrous polluted fish that Chen consumed when he's little(causing mercury poisoning, which later causing his photophobia), their life is fairly happy.Though proud and hardworking, they still care for their son and spends time together, whenever they can.
Mid-Past
Mr. Lee got a regular job that pays well, Mrs. Lee also have one soon after; they keep gaining promotion because they're quite a hardworker. Their financial keep getting better, and they finally settled down. They hire maids to do housejobs and keep their son company..But then, they grow more and more distant, slowly consumed by their works. They even go as far as giving him their signature to copy for his convenience. Lonely (yet know enough not to disturb), Chen often goes out and at times, dwelling in internet. One of his friends introduced him to the world of online gaming, and slowly become an addict since then. In which he met Kaz (who became his online BF later); from whom he know the supernatural rumors about Kirimori city, which intrigued him.
Present
After being bugged numerous times by Kaz's 'joke' about moving to where he is now, he finally gave in to temptation; as his curiosity toward the city grows stronger; besides, he sees no point in staying where he is any longer as his parents were barely home. He look up for transferring opportunity, and Higashimori High school seems like a good choice; it has dorms and well-facilitated and all.. also it's closer to Kaz's residence. After filing his transferring files, he left a short message in his mom's closet, then goes off to Japan, Kirimori city.
Temporarily staying in Kaz's apartement after sending in his application and taking care of things and lurking, while waiting for the result... To his surprise, he's accepted. Moving out to dorm .

- He prefers being called by his family name. Thus, pretty much why he often introduce himself only as 'Lee'. But since there are another Lee, he now introduce himself as 'Chen' also. (so apparently some ppl think 'Lee' is his first name orz;
- Start loving riddles after filling series of crosswords in local newspaper. (..Nice way to kill time really.)
- His photophobia is side effect of mercury poisoning; damage to his oculomotor nerve - causing his pupil can't constrict normally - even after he's cured. (in most cases, it would go away after the underlying cause is treated; not all cases though ..he's a bit unlucky.) To handle this, he set his monitor brightness around 10 or so; closing eyes when it's not necessary to open (he mostly squints if necessary); wore hat in bright days (not in school hours though). No shades, he don't like wearing it. It's not all that severe though, he still could handle slightly litted to dim-litted surrounding.
- Admires green activists.
- Understand Chinese very little; living in England for long and his dad weren't that eager to keeping his Chinese trait (not that he could be home that often anyway).
- The tattoos under his left eye is actually moles; apply tattoos above it because he don't like it much.
- ... His 'run' to Japan, aside from the reason mentioned above, is also a test, to see whether his parents would react to his dissappearance; as they were tad bit too consumed by their works.
